  1. Is there anyplace else to view this at any other time or can it be watched online? Couldn't find Lakeshore in the listings for my TV provider.
  2. Nothing much too add, just decided to post for the halibut.
  3. Thanks John. I really enjoy looking at pictures of stuff as it was before we went in and changed it.
  4. I was waiting to see what my kids schedule was for scouts/camping etc. Looks good for me thus far.
  5. Just showing Mr. Goodmanii some support as it's my weekend w/my boys.
  6. Sounds like he wanted to do a status update and it didn't take or went into cybersapce.
  7. I'm a wimp too... very little insulation and the metabolism of a 15 year old. Water needs to be in the 70's for me to wet wade..
  8. Yes I mean you I could use a new baitcasting pole... maybe you could set aside another golden ticket?? Yep, very nice lures!! Yeah...all that family and work stuff is getting in the way of my fishing. It's all good though.
  9. Got out maybe once in June and this was the result from throwing one of the buzzbaits I won at the Blowout. Thanks Jim!!
  10. That's the best way to compare stuff. I grumble about prices ocassionally and my wife always says to break it down to cost in use. A lot easier to swallow that way. Waders are going to leak no matter what, What ticks me off is that no one stiches the boot to the sole anymore. Like glue is really going to hold... stupid... you ought to be able to get a few years out of boots (unless your Norm, Don or BT).
  11. Congratulations Tom!! Nice meeting you in Cabelas a couple weeks ago.

    donkey rig

Used a similar approach for perch downtown but only one swivel w/two droppers. I'll have to give the two swivel thing a try. Thanks
  13. This is exactly the kind of irresponsible, damn the consequences, powerful rain dances I'm talking about. I think that Terry guy in the NW region did some funky dance too.
  14. Careful... I remember some previous complaints about dry conditions and some people on this site started doing some funky rain dances. I seem to recall some torrential downpours and blown out rivers... not saying the two are related, just saying...
  15. Pretty pics. Hope to make it up there once this year... Actually there were two years of heavy flooding and right around the same time in July. I was there for the 2010 event and was keeping an eye on the weather/gauges when the 2011 one happened..
  16. Pretty slick. Thanks Phil!
  17. Thanks BT, those are some good words of wisdom. Thanks for the id on the Reed Canary Grass, that stuff kills me... Also know how to id Jewelweed.Positive id is the undersides on the leaves look silver under water. It usuallly grows amongst the nettles and ivy and is supposed to be a natural "cure'.
  18. What Dana said! I also believe the duration and intensity of exposure matter. My kids unfortunately got a horrible case requiring antibiotics and steroids. I climbed over and touched the same log as they did (log covered w/ivy) however I just grazed and brushed the ivy where as they sat, leaned and scooted. Course I didn't know what it looked like then... It was really bad and now I avoid anything that even looks like ivy, especially when w/the kids.
  19. LMAO I thought they threw witches in the water to see if they would float or sink... Terry, Tons of pics on the net. Problem is the ivy looks so different through out the season and also has various forms (bush, vine, stalk) that it's hard to tell at times. You guys seem to have a lot of it out there compared to other areas (JMO).

    Chupacabra

Haven't seen the kayak yet but the title made me remember my kids watching the Scooby Doo episode where they go down to Mexico to catch the Chupcabra. Good times!!
  21. I was stunned when I heard the news. We certainly lost a good one yesterday.
  22. I assume depending on what type of data you wanted you would need a tag that you could track w/a receiver. I think that stuff gets pricey... if you figure it out let me know as i would love to tag a few smallies to see what they really do during the year.
