  5. Would anybody happen to lnow how to go about deleting old unwanted maps? I can get the "Delete" menu to pop up, but the "Delete" is in the gray. This is driving my nuts! Please help.
  6. I stopped down at the Kish on Saturday the 14th and fished from the bank tossing around a float and fly I had rigged up from December. No luck. After about 20 minutes or so I tied on a tube and tossed that around for a good half hour +. I was fishing an eddy that was fairly easy to access from the shore. Next thing I knew I was standing in the middle of brush untangling my line from the little branches that like to snag at it as I weave my way thru brush to access a part of the river that I had no plan of accessing to begin with. Ended up being out for about 2 1/2 hours with no hits or catches, but I did manage to muddy up my good sneakers. It's not easy being a smallmouth man.
  7. And you can tell that lucky bastage to keep those combos away from my creek.
  8. I WILL worry! No sleep for me tonight.
  9. ..... and as far as phones go, just don't own one. That's what I do.
  10. Nobody took any pictures? (seems to be a lot of that going around)
  11. I love your work, Mr. Ben. The Fall Run video from Todd Moen is a master piece and you're not far behind. The thing is, all these fly fishing videos are kind of the same. I hope to see a video from you on the life of a smallmouth man (fly or spin) later this year. Keep up the good work, glad to see you back, and always remember that I will always keep an eye out for that damn kayak of yours.
  12. Welcome Bob, You should try to get in touch with our friends at Rocktown Adventure. They are doing kayak classes at indoor swimming pools, I believe both in The Rockford area and the Aurora area. Good safe way to test one out. Hope to see you at the Blowout.
  13. I don't think I much care for the turn this discussion has taken. I don't want to play anymore.
  14. Thank you! I don't charge friends. Just you. I think Ed "ditched" us. He was about 3 miles in front of everybody else. But it's now Jan and Feb. Sweet info you shared there. I Look forward to future reports and watching as you learn the Kish. Good stuff.
  15. Sounds like a nice day, and you're wrong. I would come and get you if you were to call for a pick up.
  16. 87% iced up. There are a few openings here and there. Ran across this one and thought for sure I'd see Norm near by. >
  17. We're all registered in the Events pages of the Go Rockford website.... http://www.gorockford.com/includes/cms/events/?eventID=10200
  18. Interesting. I prefer a 6' medium power w/ moderate fast action. Like Pat I also prefer a river. I would be completely lost on a lake. To me, a lake would be like fishing in a Walmart parking lot.
