since i mentioned the hollow fleyes ill run the swap . i am looking for 6 tyers including me that will tie 6flies. you wont get your fly back as it will go to the blowout i would like to see some variations so pick a pattern or make one up. flies will be mailed to me or brought to the blowout if you attend . so i will need them by march 3 if mailed

rob we are all trying to improve our tying and this style just adds to it. after reading some more about it one tyer said to decrease the lengthof the section by 1/3 as you work towardthe head on longer flies with more sections 1/4.
some add eyes with flectite[arrow glue] i will try an eye of t shirt paint.
as with any fly it can be weighted or even added to a float n fly head
yes i have used the 1/0ewgon the 4 inch worm,size 1 with a 3 inch and 2/0 with a 5 incher there is now a company called decoy hooks that make size 2,4,6 and even 8. they can be found at lees bait shop in carolstream on army trail rd rich

yes, a 6 or 7wt is a good choice. i do suggest casting rods before you buy as your casting style will differ from others. i also like more backbone with sink tip or sinking lines . my fav rod is a 7wt LL bean . rich mc
