  1. Rob, really nice fly and congrats on a great team this year. Considering it caught fish I would consider "Freese Fish Fooler" or "David's Dunker" I know those suck but my creative juices ain't flowing tonight.
  2. The Blowout was moved a bit later for a few reasons. The later we go the less chance of a bad snowstorm hurting attendance, another was the amount of work and planning (especially for Scott) coming out of the sport show season. Considering the financial impact of losing 20 plus people not attending due to inclement weather made it prudent to move a bit later. In the spring, every week counts. The hall has been booked by contract and deposits made almost a year ago along with speaker commitments for this year.
  3. Partays... Terry has been hard at work. He doubled the dues for NW guys, upped his wardrobe to ISA colors and logos, and instituted limo service to and from the river for NW coordinators.
  4. That is good news. He will be a good ally for the ISA. Hopefully he will be checking u In here.
  5. Yes, Thank you to Rich and all volunteers.
  6. WOW That was a heck of an event! Thank you to all the ISA officers, coordinators and volunteers that made it happen. Boats, fly gear, instruction on a beautiful day. Great going to all! Ron does wear that hat nicely nicely. Great pics!
  7. Yes great. I have pushed the iepa many times on these boards and it seems to sometimes fall on deaf ears. I don't get it. Guys post problems and get specific things to do and don't do it. But they sure are fast to complain about problems and beuracracy ( sp). No one wants water pollution and look how fast they responded. Within days.
  8. A bit off the topic but a lot of ISA folks continue to promote waders (or hip boots) even if the summer. Some people downstream when some of dissipates might wet wade thinking this is a nice small summer creek. As you can see, getting in the water without waders can be a bit risky no matter where you are.
  9. Yes, John, thanks for heading this up and to all who attended and worked.
  10. I don't know a lot about this but my experience is that the IEPA is way more powerful than the DNR when it comes to pollution issues. That's who I would go to. Who told you they had a permit?
  11. I put a post with details on the fishing forums. Jim
