  1. Nice kayak and THANK YOU for going there for your purchase and getting money towards conservation for the ISA!
  2. Out of town and can't wait to see it! Thanks!
  3. An article about the ISA appeared in the Lincoln Courrier http://www.lincolncourier.com/community/blogs/reclaim_recycle_reconstruct_blog/x191322889/It-All-Started-With-The-Wind
  4. This is all great stuff. Mike, I would prefer official grant request. Looks better and keeps in place for future requests. I would think this would get funded easily. I would definitely like to see ISA signs since we've not hadbsuccess with them in that area.
  5. Wierd raffle night. Usually spread out more but some tables never got called while others..... well, you heard the shouts....
  6. I forgot my glasses That was hard Got at least half right
  7. Posting signs that long ago indicates we're due for new ones
  8. Paul tobeck and Doug haven't been involved with the ISA since I became president around 9 or ten years ago. Considering we post signs in other areas every couple o years I'd say we are due for some new ones down there. Youre older than I thought
  9. Here's a new Update!! Food will be great again! Fried Chicken Italian Beef Italian Sausage Mashed Baked beans Corn Potatoe salad Cookies What more could a guy or gal want? A brand new Coosa kayak! Guided trips to lakes, rivers and more! Special never before seen prizes! Be there!!!
  10. Terry, Since I'm a bad boy we always did it then saw what happened. We never once got any flak from forest preserves or park districts. I'm not saying to do it and I think working with them is good. Try to impress upon them that the IDNR paid for some of these and their logo is on the sign. I believe that having the IDNR logo on there keeps FP and PD from taking them down. Basically it's like an approval from the IDNR. We have signs in the PD and FP in Naperville (which some people think is _____ town) and if they let them stay I think that's a good sign.
  11. Dana, Tim U just did a post about a sign posting date in April and we could really use ISA signs downstate on the Mack and Vermillion etc. They have not been done in years (if ever). Would you consider a sign posting event before a kids derby? The sign posting is more in line with conservation etc. for us.
  12. Oops.... My house is for sale and we just a call about a showing tomorrow at 2. So after I take my wife to the airport I need to come back to the house to get it ready. I may not make it to the show till 11 or so

  15. This is nice stuff. We could use some signs and conservation work in that area. Thanks
