    Have not received mine yet. I'm a little surprised. I've always gotten quick service. I guess maybe the usps had a mix up with their service because of the holiday. They did make it in the mail correct?

    Been following this thread for a couple days. I'm not sure what is trying to be communicated by this anecdote or if it is a factual account. But what I can't figure out is why such an elitist fly fisherman was on an Illinois stream tossing dries for warm water fish. Something is not adding up.

    Barely broke 7ft. Already dropping. River should be perfect for a float Saturday. 85 degrees and sunny. I'll be on the river for sure. Come on man, think positive.

    I was in the area and stopped to check out the store. Talked a little with Jeremy and another guy for a bit. They already have a decent size inventory with more on the way! Great selection of tying material. I had just left Bass Pro where I had bought some tying material. Wish I would have waited DFC had a better selection and better prices. I did buy a Cliffs Bugger Barn fly box and some yarn. I hope they do well and get a lot of local support. Wish they were closer to me.

    I tied one of those over the winter. You're right it's not the easiest to tie but does look to be a good fly. Pushes a lot of water but gets a little heavy for my 6wt.

    Got my Costa's with copper lenses in the mail yesterday. They fit great. Retail $169 but I got them for 59.99 from Steap and Cheap. I've been wearing 4.99 polarized Berkley from Walmart for several years.

    Just got the Spring issue in the mail earlier this week. Since I don't know Tim I would not have made the connection. I usually start reading The Drake from front to back now I'm tempted to skip straight to your article Tim. Very cool indeed.
