  1. Methinks Mr. Ed is mistaken. I have 3 yaks. Even if I don't attend, any member is welcome borrow one. They ain't purity, but they float.
  2. That's cool. Thanks for the link, Swami. Hey Eric…pinch the tail!
  3. It's Terry. He ain't findin' them in 18 hours.
  4. Yes, Norm…I'm ignoring the twin comment.
  5. If that's the case, put me down for a ticket.
  6. I turned that float into a 13 hour trip a couple of years ago. The fish were biting and I couldn't go 100 yards without catching a fish. It was hot as hell and I only brought two bottles of water. By the time I got to the long, slow, wind-in-your-face stretch between I-90 and Harrison, I thought I was gonna die. Luckily I came upon some canoers nice enough to give me a bottle of water.
  7. Thanks for the report, Chris. That is a beautiful float, with lots of good spots. When the Perryville gauge is around 6 feet the fishing should be much better.
  8. Good job, Norm. That story made me feel all warm and fuzzy. (Kinda like your beard.)
  9. Yeah…I was surprised they brought the Fairdale gauge back at all, let alone so quickly. Hopefully today and tomorrow aren't too rainy.
  10. Hey Chris…make sure to let us know how you do tomorrow. I would have no qualms about floating at the current level, but I (personally) would not expect a great day fishing. I just suck at fishing in higher flow conditions. Good luck and have fun.
  11. We really couldn't have asked for better conditions, but as usual for a N.W. outing, the fishing was pretty slow. Must be the Curse of the River Dancer. It was a great time hanging with some of the usual suspects, and picking on our host. Thanks for being a good sport, Terry. Six of my seven were caught on the Chug Bug, 16.5" being the biggest.
  12. Started with another fine CV Cafe breakfast: Ben, Terry, Tim, and Frank stretching their legs: Ben's 17.5" fattie: Concentration:
  13. I'm still debating. My Chug Bugs are dying to get wet, but I've told myself that I'm going to use the fly rod as much as possible. I've never floated a river with the fly rod…hmmmm….the only sure thing is that I'll be in my Tarpon. That reminds me! Stickers for my yaks! I guess I'll have to run to MC Sports today.
  14. Too bad, Joe. Hopefully next time. You probably would have caught all the fish anyway.
  15. Keep in mind that this is Terry we're talking about. Any fish is lucky.
  16. I'm pretty optimistic looking at the current levels and the forecast. The timing looks perfect! Combine that with the best B&G east of the Mississippississippi? Should be a great day.
  17. Don't know if you noticed, Tim, but when I said I was in Terry was "happy to hear it". You got "damn it". Just an observation.
  18. That seems doable to me. I'm in. Please count me as such.
  19. I'm thinking about it, but I can't be sure until I know how many days away it is. In color.
  20. Great looking fly! I'm not one to get too picky about color, but when the Kish is muddy, fire tiger seems to be the way to go.
