  1. He's like a cicada only backwards. He disappears every seven years it seems.
  2. Luxury Vinyl Tile. Yep…luxury baby. Since we practically run a dog rescue mission, it was time to get something a little more dog proof.
  3. I just figured Tim would bring all 23 of his kids and no other help would be necessary. (Actually, I'm getting flooring installed Saturday.)
  4. Hey Terry...next time you see them try to catch one and bring it home with you. Being domestic, they'll do the dishes, laundry, all that stuff. Very helpful animal to have around. Almost as good as a helper monkey.
  5. Yep. I'm pretty sure they're just plain old ducks.
  6. Bummer Terry…he was a cool old dude.
  7. (Which we normally don't.)
  8. 1. Jude Bug 2. Jude Bug 3. Jude Bug 4. Clouser 5. Clouser The Kish is a very shallow river and they always seem to be tempted to come up to the surface. Cold, high water forces me to go to a clouser, but I'm never pleased about it.
  9. Fridge. Hillbilly fridge. That's where I hide the beer from my wife. Thanks for the sign. When the river's up that rip-rap upstream of the mailbox really attracts the bucket brigade.
  10. That last shot's a doozy. You couldn't have worked too hard on the trash part. There's still a semi degraded Wal-mart bag in my side yard. (Terry's last shot, that is.)
  11. Actually I wouldn't bother at this level. It's way higher than I've ever fished or floated it. I fished it at about 7.2' earlier this week and it was higher than I like. Tim…Why would anyone want to know where Terry doesn't catch fish? Nice sig line, by the way.
  12. Pictures or it didn't happen. (Squatch, that is.)

    Kayak Storage

Two pulleys a cleat and a rope. (For my Sit-in) I put an eye bolt in the middle of a 5'ish 2x4. Longer than my cockpit by 2' or so. One pulley goes in the garage ceiling right where I want it to hang, the other in the ceiling close to the wall. On the wall below that pulley I mounted a cleat. A sturdy rope goes from the 2x4 up, over, and down to the cleat. I put foam padding on the ends of the 2x4 to keep it from slipping. Just slip the 2x4 into the cockpit, give it a few tries to center the load, and raise the yak to the ceiling, and secure the rope to the cleat, completely out of the way. I'm sure you could figure out a way to do the same with a SOT. A cradle of some sort? I do have a pair of rubber gloves dedicated to hoisting the yak. Couldn't hold on with leather. Been my system for 12 years or so, hasn't fallen on my hood yet. Probably shouldn't have said that.
  14. Your memory serves you, although I've since devolved into a full time fly fisher. Still usually fishing on top, though. Thanks for the pizza, ISA. And thanks to the Swami for putting it together.
  15. Better send the hats back. I can't believe you didn't notice that the logo is backwards. Vice president…pfffft.
  16. Encourage on the scalp, prevent on the ears, nose, and back.
  17. I'm in. Even though I didn't see biscuits and gravy on the menu.
  18. I'd say the whole lot is worth about 20 bucks. I'll take them off your hands for 40 to save you the hassle of looking them up. That's the kind of guy I am.
  19. Add me to the list happy campers. No problem Kevin... mi yaka, su yaka.
