A number of us fish Jackson Coosa's. As a disclaimer Jonn Graham and I are on the Jackson Team. Neither of us stand but we love the boats. I've had a number of them for about 5 years or so. Tone of videos on them. Not light but super stable but it's all in deciding what you want in a boat. It was designed for standing.
  7. Looks like a success and yes, thanks to our many volunteers and especially John for heading this up!
  8. Yes, thank you to all our volunteers for this work and to Craig for organizing and heading up.
  9. Thanks for remembering your roots and can you send me an autographed copy?
  10. I agree, great job and thanks to all and especially mike for continuing to lead the team.
  11. Great pics. Lots of swag.
  12. I also fished the tournament. 7.3 miles, 6 straight hours, not one smallmouth. i made the impossible, possible.
  13. Comgratulations!! They did great. Team Schaaf took home a cool $1000 cash and Eric won first for individual and Grant first in the younger division. Between them they got over $2000 in money and really cool prizes. Rocktown did a great job hosting. 35 people fished, and a third were from out of state . rocktown also made a donation to the ISA which was nice.
  14. Kish is max two hours to aurora . that means off water at 1:30 fishing starts at sunrise, 5:30 if you can't find them in 8 hours you ain't findin them.
  15. The RiverBassin tournament will be here in 9 days and is a fun event sponsored by 2 supporters of the ISA: Rocktown Adventures and Jackson Kayak. You need to have a watercraft to fish it and it needs to be on moving waters. Several ISA members have fished it before and had a great time. Some really nice prizes. Catch, Photo and Release Rocktown is graciously donating donations for the food event to the ISA. Read about it here! http://www.rocktownadventures.com/uncategorized/river-bassin-update-no-2/

    Yea Wristband idea is great.
  17. skirts I always get white then ship them to Jonn and ties new skirts on in my confidence colors, adds some tinsel for flash etc. He does them long and I trim to desired length. Yes, occasional skirt tangle. Also, they are inconsistent. Some work great and some need tuning and some you can never get just right. I am willing to put up with the inconsistencies because it's the best I've found.
  18. Nice mark and sorry for this. Eric did seem like a relaxed guy you could get along with. yes, hot July day on the river. it's fine to get mushy
  19. The May '15 issue of Outdoor Notebook ... WOW! Page 18 features a fishing pic of Eric, one fishing pic of his son Grant, the ISA "standard" color ad and the new ISA color ad (Why Don't People Care?) featuring his son Brent. On page 19, there is even a photo of Eric (just a hand shot) holding a nice Fox River smallmouth with one of Jonn's new Warrior Swim Jigs in its mouth. If that wasn't enough, on page 30 there's another color fishing pic of Eric with a Fox River smallmouth and promoting www.fishthefox.com. Eric was blown away! Publisher Bob Maciulis has really outdone himself with including pics and supporting the ISA! We didn't ask Bob for any of that. He just did it. Wow!
  20. Nice fish and nice outing guys! Flukes and chugbugs. HA
