John Loebach
Nice pics, Don. No analysis? Maybe European? When did Steve play running back? That last tatooed smallie is bleeding - I saw the same last spring & assume its VHS, a shame to see big fish stressed regardless. Nice pike!! Paul Trybul
You have a picture of Norm holding a fish? I heard that's very rare like catching 2 bass on the same lure at the same time.
Jim Kast
See? I fished some... caught some... and missed some! That's my year in review.

Norm M
In the photo of me, that fish was caught on a crankbait worked upstream against the current.
Guest Don R
In the photo of me, that fish was caught on a crankbait worked upstream against the current. Good memory Norm! I remember the day like it was yesterday. Hope to fish with you again sometime soon. Look for a PM.
Guest
Thanks for the pics. Do you have one of the Killer Tree? It was fun working those eddies with a tube and then catching the fish on cranks. May have to head north if I want to fish with you. Guest Don R
Gordon and I headed north of the border for two full days of paddling. Well, mostly he paddled and I fished. Thanks for a great time Gordon! Getting in on the action. We made it through a really bad storm the second day. Don....always pack your rain gear. Guest Don R
Fished up north with Kevin in September. He somehow survived the ordeal. We caught enough small fish to satisfy any dink master. And some bigger ones as well. Good times. Beautiful scenery. One trip up north and you're hooked. kevin summers
Thanks again Don for a memorable expierence!!! Haven't felt that alive or totured in a very long time. Good conversation, some great jokes, and a lot of fish... Waiting on spring.
Guest Don R
You're very welcome Kevin! Next time I promise an easier wade. If I had a nickle for every time I said that! In late September Bill and I headed up north to fish a day and a half. The weather was kinda raw from what I remember. But the smile on Bill's face shows that in spite of the weather we had a good time.
Guest Don R
In early October I convinced Cory to come up north with me. Hey, they can't all be big fish photos. Here's Cory's first river walleye. He was even kind enough to let me catch a smallie. Which is bigger...the fish or the smile? Taking in the beauty of the north woods. Guest Don R
Just a few more pics from 2011. A river in the northwoods of Wisconsin teaming with smallies. That feeling you get when the next current break is just a cast away...
