John Gillio
That is a very pretty build Rob. A friend of mine has a Moonlit s-glass rod and he loves it. I picked up an inexpensive glass 6’6” Eagle Claw 3wt that I have been using for panfish, stocked trout and white bass. What a blast, I love it. It doesn’t have the good looks of your beauty though. Colindanenfish
I have before yes. Wonder rod and a south bend fiber glass and a 8wt from China. I don't have loads of money so I get what I can get. Until I get my own company running with a runing website. I'll one day have to upgrade to a much better glass rods. Rob G
Finally got a chance to christen the new glass rod that I built this winter. No pigs like some of you have landed recently but I'll take fat 17's all day long on glass. Lotta fun.
Ben K.
Very nice build Rob. I’m a fan of the color and clean look. Can’t go wrong with the Lamson either. 17 inch bass are in their prime!

Paired it with their $45 ShadowCAST rod. Very fun rod.
Rob G
Ben, I own a couple of the Lamson reels and when I was up in Montana a week ago, I put every "Bow" and Brownie that I hooked on that reel in order to make use of the drag as the current flow was up. To me, that's when a reel's smooth drag really shines. Urbs, I also built up the 8' 5 wt. Moonlit blue colored blank this winter. I have never fished it but it is definitely softer and a much slower action than their 6 wt. blank above.
