Colt Johnson
Here are my flies. I will try to get them in the mail today. I beefed them up to a size #8: Colt
Mike G
Nice, Colt. I have to warn you that my first act after I see the fly live will be rendering it in a #2.
Colt Johnson
Mike, That would be pretty cool. I have not previously tied this pattern and it was originally suggested to be tied on a #10 hook. I ended up bumping up to a #8, but I didn't have the balls to go up to a #2 hook! Mike G
Colt, It could be tricky. Doubling the thickness of the foam for some parts will probably be necessary though I might stick with thinner foam for the wings. Then I can start making it in NFL North colors. A Bear Bee. A Cheese Bee. A Lion Bee. And a Viking Bee if I can find purple foam.
Rob G
Well I've got 7 of the 10 sets of flies in now, still waiting on Colt, Ryan, and Rich's flies. Hopefully the others get here soon so I can get this all wrapped up and get your sets back to you.
Colt Johnson
Rob, My set went out via first class mail yesterday. I imagine you will receive them tomorrow (if you did not get them today). I will admit that I forgot to include toe tags. However, I did include an extra fly (twelve total). Please use your discretion on the best way to use the extra fly. Another disclosure: My fly tying is a bit rusty, so the first six flies were somewhat sketchy and the second six flies look nicer. So each participant has a 50/50 shot of getting one of the nicer flies. : ) Colt
Rob G
Colt, I'm sure they all look great and will be fish catchers. I know Rich's flies are in the mail as well. I'm not sure where the KGB is but then you never are.

Ryan Kral
Done! Been to busy lately, I've just been crammin a couple flies in before bed every night. Good news is, I have tied enough top water stuff to last me a lifetime, deerhair, foam, all kinds of stuff! Ryan
Ryan Kral
In the mail, priority. Supposed to get it by Tuesday the 18 at the latest. Ryan
Rob G
Thanks Ryan, the first and only time I'll ever look forward to the KGB arriving at my home.
Ryan Kral
I totally forgot to tag the flies. The flies that look like a hopper on steroids, or hopper/popper mix, are from me. They are tied in olive, tan, and yellow. Sorry, I'm new to the swap, and horrible at following instructions! Ryan
Mike G
We Don't need no stinking tags if Rob posts a picture of the ten and includes a list of names.

I should be able to get everything wrapped up this evening after work so hopefully if all goes well, I should have everyone's flies in the mail tomorrow. Thanks again to all for participating. Rob G
Photos of the flies from this swap may be viewed in the ISA photo gallery under Rob G.'s photo album, "Top Water Flies of the ISA BassBuggers 2014" http://illinoissmallmouthalliance.net/forums/index.php?app=gallery&album=
John Gillio
A very nice collection of topwaters guys. Well done.
Mike G
Thank you, Rob. The event was a smashing success. Each fly is a work of art that will also catch fish. Everyone should look at the gallery. I am proud to have my offering in the group. I am also proud that it does not stand out in the fly box. Like the B-2 it is stealthy. Where would we be without EVA foam? Take out that and fake fur, and there would not be much left on the hooks. Again, Rob, you get another attaboy for the Zoo Cougar made mostly from real fur and real feathers by the looks of it.
