  1. Hope you all had a good one. I appreciate those that generously give their time to ISA. Gregg
  2. Good shot. We had cloud over up here.
  3. Eric, Thanks for the direction.
  4. Hey, Can someone remind me how to get Timmy's spinnerbaits? The LMB and Pike in my home lake are tearing up the "Josh's 'Gill" pattern. Tim, if you see this you can contact me at gstockey@att.net Gregg
  5. Way to go Ed. Congratulations.
  6. One dink for me. Once the handwriting was on the wall that I was not doing much catching I put the rod down and enjoyed the float. I was off the water about 330. Not sure how far I had gotten ahead. Gregg
  7. I previously said probably. I am coming. Gregg
  8. I'm probable. I will tell you for sure by Friday. Gregg
  9. Both kayaks gone. New Jackson Kilroy picked up today. Can it be May now?
  10. Point 65 N sold. Hurricane still available.
  11. I posted pic of each on Facebook Gregg Stockey
  12. I have two kayaks I need to move 1) Hurricane Phoenix 12 foot sit on top. Great condition. Have added rod holder and have Ocean Kayak scupper plugs that fit it. Garage kept. $450 or best offer. I have camped out of this boat! 2) Point 65 North Tequila sit on top- This is a modular kayak. I have three pieces. Put two together for solo, three for tandem. Has some UV fading from being outside all summer. Otherwise good. This is a good boat for someone that wants to occasionally go tandem. Works well for taking a child along. $400 or best offer I cannot include a paddle with either. E-mail for pics (gstockey@att.net) or come see them in Ingleside (Lake County). 847-270-9730 Gregg Stockey
  13. Thanks for the info. Gregg
  14. Hey John, Ed, or others; Are Temple Forks rods a good value and good choice for a novice (not complete beginner)? Is there a difference between Jim Teeny models and others? Gregg
  15. Paul, I could have come, but spaced out. I'd like to plan a fall outing. Gregg
  16. Way to go Steve. Gregg
  17. Hey guys, Here is a question from someone who has not used lipless/rattle trap type baits much: Do you have to retrieve all of them fast to keep off the bottom? Do they sink to different depths, so that you can find a shallow runner to fish slower? Comments welcome. Gregg
  18. I am looking at a kayak from Point 65 North (that is the company). They make kayaks that you buy in pieces. Two pieces is a solo kayak, add a third piece for tandem. At end of day, take the pieces apart and put them in the trunk. Gregg
  19. There is no perfect kayak. This one is made for stability and comfort, not speed or portaging. That is why everyone needs 2 or 3 kayaks! Gregg
  20. Would we make more $ doing the kayak via $20 raffle ticket? If you sold 100, that would be $2,000. You could put me down for two of those tickets. I don't think it would bring more than retail price on auction. Gregg
  21. Jonn, The seat is easily removable; it just slides out. It weighs 40 lbs without seat, 45 with. I usually remove the seat to cartop it to lift 5 fewer pounds.
  22. I've decided to sell my Native Ultimate-a great fishing kayak 12 foot long, yellow, no problems but it has been ridden hard, so it has lots of cosmetic scratches. I paddled down the Chicago River in it on New Years' Day! Wife has convinced me to get a tandem that can double as my solo fishing kayak. Extras I have for it are 1)anchor trolley and anchor cleat installed(cost $49) 2)a foam block 'seat riser' that wedges the seat under the gunwale for a higher ride while fishing(cost $69), and 3)motor mount bracket ($99). The boat would retail for $800 without the extras. I'll sell as is for $350. At that price I prefer no haggling. For anyone interested I could send pics after 6pm tonight. gstockey@att.net Gregg
  23. i'd love to come for this one, but have a work committment 11a-2p gregg
