  3. We will be meeting at the old meigs field terminal building 9 am sat on 4 / 18, there should be ample free parking at that location.Since this our clubs first lake Michigan outing,we will just have to experiment and find the pattern that works Ed B

Paul Yes it's still the first saturday in May and the Lake Michigan rules do apply.A good boat is a plus on the big lake but you always have to be careful out there.Remember 1000 foot ore carriers have been sunk out there. That said,there are places to wade and sheltered bays for a small boat. Ed B
  7. Paul You're right about green bay,this spring I caught and released a 22'' smallie in Door county.I also heard a credible rerport of a 7# 11 oz smallie caught while I was there. Ed B

  10. Well it finally happened,I caught my first bass on a flyrod today.Went out this afternoon with John Loebach on the Fox and we each got about ten.Nothing of any size but they were bass and I caught them on a flyrod . Ed B

  14. It is not their official policy,but it always shows through.It is why I am here and not there.

I have canoed the mazon several times with the prarie state canoeists,we would put in at rt. 113 and float down to the take out.I don't remember the name of the the take out,but I do remember that the natives are not friendly.We had to be very careful not to even step onto private property. I can't say what the fishing was like as the PSC is rather anti fishing and I couldn't fish and keep up with the group Ed
