John Loebach
About 30 volunteers met this morning & planted 1000 water willow on the Fox. The group included members of the ISA, Friends of the Fox, Oakbrook TU, IDNR & Cub Scout Pack 151. Tim U took pics & will post some. Tim plans to swap places & next year I will help him. Way to step up Tim. This is a great event & I can't wait to see how the plants do on the midstream bars & islands where they were planted. Lunch was anchored by great sub sandwiches made fresh & donated by O' Briens Pub & Grill in Batavia. They were great & I plan to return the favor with a visit the next time the Smallie Hunters are in the area.

John Loebach
I forgot to thank Eugene for bringing his pond hopper out twice & helping receive & place the flats on the islands on Friday afternoon. Also while fishing on Friday Eugene introduced a new angler to the secret of the Beetle spin with great results. Another smallie fisher is born.
