Kids Fishing Day- Saturday, June 11

The 5th Annual Sgt. Tommy's Kids Fishing Day is happening on Saturday, June 11th at Herrick Lake in Wheaton.

Once again, the ISA can use your help with the Kids Casting field.

John Loebach is adding a Fly Casting station to this year's event as well.

We have exciting new features for this year's program.

In addition to Spin and Fly casting, a scout group is giving outdoor skills demonstrations, and every child attending will get the usual free rod and reel, lunch and we're throwing in a T-Shirt for every kid to commemorate this special 5th year.

Now that ffing is included all you ffers who expressed concerns about ffing's possible extinction can do a little something about it by volunteering to help out at this event.

I'll be there next weekend. Mike how much room or # of outfits do we need? I think 4 would be plenty. I have the cones, targets,rods, ect. Should I just bring them on the 11th? Do I need to get anything or will we get through with them?

Bring whatever you think will work for the fly casting- including a few faithful that would like to promote the sport.

I've got additional casting plugs, so we should be good with the rest.
