Favorite Smallmouth Spinning Rod Specs

Just curious what most people favor when they go to grab their favorite spinning rod for river or lake.

I prefer a river. I have more experience on rivers so I know where to find fish better.

You should see my favorite. It started as a 6'6" Eagle Claw straight from the $10.99 barrel at K-Mart. It felt tip heavy; so I added 4" to the handle using a secret process. To make it more stealthy, I rubbed it down with a heavy duty Scotch Brite pad to dull the finish.

Interesting.

I prefer a 6' medium power w/ moderate fast action. Like Pat I also prefer a river. I would be completely lost on a lake.

To me, a lake would be like fishing in a Walmart parking lot.
