  1. Mark, I'm staying at the Lover's Key Beach Club. We walk across the street and we're in the park. This is a view of Lover's Key State Park from our room Fishing around here at this time of year is pretty slow. There are dozens of guys fishing within view of our room and nobody is catching anything except for the guy who I saw catch a seagull last night. I had a guide approach me the other day. $385 for one day. The back bays are still too cool and the snook and redfish are not very active yet.
  2. Mark, you are right, it's in Bonita Springs. I'm typing this sitting outside, wearing shorts, with the Gulf of Mexico lapping the shoreline just a few feet from my chair. 80 degrees the projected high today. I took this picture last night.
  3. Insert your own joke here. This is a real tackle shop.
  4. Steve, as of now, PayPal did not record your transaction.
  5. No, you don't get a conformation.
  6. Kevin could probably make good money traveling around to drought stricken areas planning fishing outings.
  7. Shortly after I put up that post, we got 2 new out of state members. One from Alabama and one from Minnesota. Coincidence?
  8. I look at it this way. As a magazine, it is not much compared to other magazines. But compared to other newsletters, it's pretty damn good!
  9. Over on Riversmallies.com, someone asked if there were any smallmouth magazines. I couldn't resist getting in a plug for our modest little publication that I have something to do with. http://forums.riversmallies.com/forums/ind...c=37055&hl=

  13. Yes they do. You pay for the parking, and the ISA will reimburse you. There are usually show entry passes held at the window. You don't always get one with your name on it, but it gets you in.
  14. Norm's right, here's someone who stopped by our booth a few years ago, and stayed for a little while.
  15. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . It's a 5 MB hard drive from 1956! Compare that to a 4 GB flash drive that is that has 800 times the storage and is smaller than a pack of gum! See an article about it at http://www.snopes.com/photos/technology/storage.asp

I don't think anyone has purchased anything from there in 5 years. The logo cafe press still has is the original one that has a very green smallie on it. I bought an ISA clock when we first signed on.
  17. Just for clarification, Don has registered on the forums, but has not become a paid member of the ISA (yet).
  18. When I was in Missouri this past spring, I was at a place called Dogwood Canyon which is owned by Bass Pro founder Johnnie Morris. The stream that runs through the canyon has been altered with man made wiers forming several pools to which rainbow trout have been stocked. At one of the pools, a 12 inch or so trout was swimming around with a 12 inch copperhead snake hanging out of it's mouth. Stock up on that Bohemian Cheneille!
  19. I'm sorry, but these are supposed to be "Man Laws". If my wife was making a list, this would be on it. But Man Laws, no way.
  20. I was at the doctor's today where they had a tour through the ol' back door. Just another thing to look forward to once you hit the big 50.
  21. Good luck Norm, I hope you have a speedy recovery.
