Is it possible to have regional threads added to the web site? I for one am still not sure what members or even how many members are in my region. It just seems like there could be some advantages to doing this.

We had regional threads once upon a time and condensed them down. There just wasn't enough activity to have the posts spread across several forums.

That's too bad but understandable. What about just having your region added to your profile info such as.........

so when a member post you can see what region he/she belongs to?

The forums set up is a pre-packaged deal and there is no provision for adding the region information in the spot you are suggesting. Anyone can add that information to their signature line if they want.

We also have such a hard time just getting those who register to give us even their real name that having them figure out which region they are part of may be more than we could hope for.
