To shed some light on the pre-spawn fishery, Tight Lines FlyFishing Co. has filmed this video on pre-spawn smallmouth fishing. They have decided to break it down into four 10 minute episodes to help you understand our early season fishery a little better.

Mike,

Who they? Tight Lines FlyFishing Co. might be the inventors of sliced bread or what. Lots of stuff out there. Why should I go for this one in lieu of Flying Lures?

Oh yeah. They are a speaker at the Blow Out. I fugured that out myself. Well, we would not of had this issue if you identifed them right in the first place.

For those who are not familiar with our choice of Blowout speaker,Tim Landwehr, this video may help. Across the smallmouth range in the upper midwest, there are not many guides who fish for smallmouth especially on rivers. I think those who come to the Blowout will find Tim's presentation to be worth the price of admission alone. No matter if you spin or fly fish, you'll enjoy it.

Pro: For $25/year, you can be a part of and/or support a valuable organization for our smallmouth bass fisheries.

Con: For $25/year, anybody can get in.

I was lucky enough to see Tim Landwehr's presentation at a fly show. It was super cool. B) Don't miss this year's Blowout!

Hands down, it was the best smallmouth presentation I have ever seen...and I've seen a lot of them.

He's a great speaker and he has really cool visuals to back it.

He's also very easy to listen to - public speaking does not come naturally to all.
