Ed Buric Posted July 2, 2020 Report Share Posted July 2, 2020 It's time for our annual Pot Luck Picnicat the picnic shelter in the Glenwood Forest Preserve in Batavia on Saturday, August 1st. After beimg shut down for most of the Summer I believe that it' about time for a social gathering with our friends in the I S A. As always we will provide the main course, hot dogs and burgers and encourage but not require everyone to bring a dish to share. If you are uncomfortable with that please do not attend. We will be outdoors with plenty of room for social distancing. At this time things seem to be improving with the pandemic. Should that change or if there is not enough interest we will cancel by Saturday, July 25th. If you plan on attending please respond here so we know how many to plan for or if there is not enough interest to proceed. Ed Buric Posted July 25, 2020 Author Report Share Posted July 25, 2020 The Pot Luck Picnic will go on as planned.We will apparently have a smaller number of people and we will be outdoors with plenty of room for social distancing so there should be little reason for concern. Be sure to bring a face mask and if you can also bring a lawn chair so that we can comfortably spread out if necessary Please let us know here if you plan on attending so that we can plan accordingly The weather looks to be perfect and we believe that we are all ready for some of that I S A camaraderie at this time Kane county has advised us that there may not be electric available at the shelter Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
