Deer Hair class 3/22 10am Coren's

Cory will do his deer hair class on Saturday 3/22/14 at 10am at:

Cory will demo & work with the tyers on technique to spin & stack deer hair. Bring your vice, a good bobbin & Gel spun thread. Eric will have tools & material for sale too. Materials provided for class. Open to beginners but all can benefit from the practice. We'll order in lunch for those who want it.

Class is free - its a group tying instruction. Cory has materials - donations are ok but not a big deal.

We are on for this Saturday 3/22/14 at Coren's.

Shop opens at 9:30am - We will start by 10am.

We will focus on technique and taking home a couple of deer hair bugs.

RC Frog will be featured.

Thanks Cory for sharing your knowledge. 13 tied the RC Frog after practiceing techniques. Thanks to Eric at Coren's for hosting & letting us trim deer hair all over the place. A good learning experience.

This class solidified my suspicions that I do not have the patience for deer hair poppers! Way too much bourbon would be consumed per fly...... I am glad however that I went because the techniques practiced are definitely applicable to other bugs where deer hair is used! Thanks Cory, and Eric!
