there is a report on stripersonline. he say it a little stiffer than bucktail and it doesnt have the hollow float properties

of natural bucktail says it will work on straight type streamers as the tips are tapered. disappointed on some colors as the chartruese is more of an light olive but they make a great tan color. good thing is its 6 inches long , bad thing is around $7. rich mc

thursday night we will tie some large light weight streamers with eyelash yarn. if you can tie a woolly bugger you can tie this. this same fly can also be tied on a jighead for our spinning gear fans . rich mc

i attended the show with some friends from shabbona . interesting and well attended show. this was my first time there. had some of the top quides and brand name items such as grab your fly charter, camp smallmouth with his warrior jigs, shabbona lakeside. DRIFT. mike mladnick,. picked up a raptor twin arm spinnerbait that i wanted for a while. picked up an assorted dozen of varoius plastic baits from crabby bass lures. got a nice deal on some unpainted small crappie jigheads .. best of all i ran into old friends and past and current members. all in all it was so nice to view booths instead of working behind one.
