    I have had very good luck with 20lb Power Pro. I feel it cast better than fluorocarbon.

    That was a fantastic fish great job. It states in article that he held that fish for about an hour waiting game for the scale! My question is how much stress did that fish go thru! Just looking to see what others think about the effects of the hour the fish was held before being released.

    I have been messing with the Ned Rig some this spring and have had very good success with it. Seems to work when nothing else does. Fished a private lake today and it was lights out. Had all 39 acres to myself. Caught 12 largemouth bass 14 to 16 inches and 1 at 19inches. 12 crappies 10 to 12 inches. It is something that is definitely worth exploring. I have been throwing it on a 1/16 Gopher Mushroom jig and the TRD in the color they call The Deal. I have also had luck on the color they call PB&J. Try and you will surpised!

    For sale 2 St Croix Triumph rods. First rod is a St Croix Triumph 6ft med power fast action with a Abu Garcia Cardinal SX20 reel spooled with 8lb Fire Line. Second rod is a St Croix Triumph 7ft med power fast action with a Abu Garcia Cardinal SX20 reel spooled with 8lb Fire Line. Both rods and reels are in very good condition and are nice smallmouth set ups. Asking $60.00 for each . Can send photos if needed. PM me with any questions.

    Hoping to make this outing was wondering how the water level is? Will this rain coming the middle of the week have a big impact on levels. I have never fished the DuPage and looking forward to fishing it. Thank you and hope to see you guys this weekend
