  1. Since this was a topic of discussion at the recent tying event at my place, I thought I would find the website and forward it on to those that may have an interest. I have used this device for several years and have found it to be very helpful. Fly rod or spin gear, doesn't matter. http://fishhandsfree.com/ Good Luck
  2. looks pretty slick. May have to give that a go. Thanks for sharing
  3. I would be willing to consider hosting a tying night, yet I am not really ready to be a pattern demo person. I could have everything situated to host by January depending on the turn out.
  4. Sadly the Fox in many many locations has the same issues, especially in a few towns. The locations that I am referring unfortunately I believe to be mainly rentals and some businesses. What a shame
  5. Not as of yet. I have gone through two season to the tune of about 80-100 wades and several changes of the sole so far so good.
  6. About a year ago I purchased the Korker brand wading boots and they have interchangeable soles. Rubber, felt and rubber studded. I think they have a few more now. I use the felt in IL as I have found them to have a better grip and I change them out to rubber or rubber studded for my trips to AR. Delighted with them so far.
  7. regardless of the outcome, it was a nice float and great compny of folks. I would make the observation that my experience on the Dup has been that for summer top water action, sun is your friend. My experience has been that the sunnier the better for smallmouth topwater. I don't understand the contrarian deal on this river, buit we noticed this same effect on the Mazon earlier in the year. i am certian this view will cause constoversy, but it's just my opinion. Thanks Bart for setting up the event, and nice spending time with Scott, Kip and Bart

  12. Does anyone have an update on the Bassin Tournament? I know there is a lot of controversy around it this year. I attempted to register and the site is down as well. Since it's less than two weeks away, just wondering if it's on. Thanks
