Mike Clifford
I'm planning a trip on the Kankakee River in order to host our film documentary friends during the full Autumn blaze of color. Looking for several good boats and captains, as well as any members that care to tag along for the experience. We'll be launching from the Des Plaines Conservation Area ramp, which accommodates most large boats. Our destination is the confluence of the 3 rivers. Anybody that has seen this while it is alive with color can attest that it is stunning, to say the least. Lets make a day of it and travel the river in search of colorful landscapes and willing smallmouth. I have no specific date in mind yet, Ma Nature will tell us when the time is right. Who's in? Mike Clifford
It will most definitely be a Sunday, so that I'm certain I'm not working....since I am organizing it after all. As for canoes, that's a great question. Hopefully others with experience in this area can chime in.

Mike Clifford
This is very likely to go THIS SUNDAY. The film crew will be in town already, the weather is predicted to be in the low to mid 80's and the colors are going to be displaying brilliance, or real close to it before the bottom drops out and they begin to fall. I have a pretty firm idea on 3 boats.
