Well now that the IDNR has shut down everything I guess we need to get creative.

Just the access to waterways.  Find other means.  Private launches, US army corp boat ramps, city parks, etc.

I was just thinking about it, if it's a navigable waterway the DNR owns it.

No they don’t.

You are right.  The state does, the DNR has jurisdiction.

I called.  As long as it's not DNR property you are okay.  This is a directive of the governors office.

Closing easy access sucks for me because my back and neck are in bad shape and can't get around great or drive far anymore. Very disapointed. I rely on wading so I'm going to have to get creative.
