Mark K
What a great idea. Not only a great idea for kayak fishing, but if one is just wading rivers.
Eric
The best way to make your kayak fishing more efficient is to stop carrying so damn much gear!!! Neat rod.
Mark K
looks like you build it into a rod.
Mike G
These rods have a lot going on. Besides the telescoping butt, they use Microwave guides. Has anyone used a rod with these? Then there is the price with the platinum at $190. That is pretty ultimate. http://manleyrods.com/pages/our-rods

Apparently you can modify an existing rod too.
Joe R
Okay I'm way late since I don't read most forum categories but have no fear shortening a rod handle. I do this with some of my long rods that have traditional cork handles. I buy preferred butts at Mudhole and simply hacksaw the handle to length. Push on the butt and glue or epoxey it if you desire. Takes less than 5 minutes.
