Terry Dodge Posted July 15, 2016 Report Posted July 15, 2016 July 23, Saturday, River Seine with the ISA The Illinois Smallmouth Alliance NW Region will be conducting a river seining event of the South Branch Kishwaukee River at Oak Ridge Forest Preserve, at 10:00am. on Saturday, July 23, 2016 as part of the Forest Preserve of Winnebago County "Get Outside!" program. So Slip on a pair of river shoes (no sandals please) and step foot in water to see what lives beneath the surface and learn what food smallmouth bass like to feed on. This is “hands-on” fun and a fun for all ages event. NOTE: In the event of high water situation, the ISA will conduct a stream side river safety clinic at the same location and at the same time.
