Dick G
Out on a stream earlier this week I came across this feather. It was about 6 inches long and 2 to 3 inches wide. Any bird experts out there know what type of bird it came from?

Jim J
Hey DIck, For the last bunch of years I've been collecting feathers I find when fishing. I am going to post a picture in the next few days. When I moved I had to store them but need to get them out. A turkey is a really cool find. Dick G
Jim, Just be careful what feathers you keep. There are some federal prohibitions about collecting certain feathers from songbirds, eagles, etc.
