I'll bring enough materials for everyone to tye along. The only thing that I won't have enough is the thread. The recipe called for Ultra Thread 140 Fl. Fire Orange. I got it from Cabela's, but you can use any other threads as substitute.

The Foxy Crawdad is a level 3 difficulty fly in a 1-5 scale. It is a fun fly to tye and very effective.

Hope to see you there.....

Good job, Mike. For you, I'll have to bring a new sculpin pattern that I've been working on. Similar in concept of the Foxy Crawdad, but with deer hair spinning and icedub

Thank you very much Tom for teaching us how to tie the foxy crawdad. Thanks John for being the host and Steve and Mike for your assistance and patience sitting next to me. I'm looking forward to trying out my fly on the Fox/Dupe this spring.
