  1. Thanks to all for the fun day…..I enjoyed it as much as fishing… (well, at least a very close 2nd to fishing). Great tips, tricks and company….along with some wonderful (pretty) flies. Terrific job!!!!
  2. Once again a VERY rewarding experience. Thanks Mike and ISA for all the time and effort to make this day a big success for all involved.
  3. I plan on coming John, and would be happy to help out with day of event coordination.
  4. Don't mind at all Mike. You'll have to teach me how to do that some time.
  5. [i want to join the ISA, but just want to hear from you all the benefits of the organization. ] Mike, I can’t say enough good things about the ISA organization. I joined 2-1/2 years ago to meet and fish with some people who had the same passion for fishing as myself. I have to say now, that is the least of what I have gotten out of this organization. I've made some great friends (I tell my family that fishermen are the friendliest people around), have thoroughly enjoyed participating in the numerous conservation events, and have learned lots more about spin & fly fishing/tying. But the “most rewarding” experience I had was being part of the Sgt. Thomas M. Gilbert Kids Fishing Event http://video.nbc5.com/player/?id=141791 That alone was worth $100.00. Check out Mike Clifford’s great video on You Tube (and get some Kleenex) Oops, almost forgot, the fishing outings are also a lot of fun. Pat
  6. Tim, I fish the Fox in downtown Batavia; and just south a few miles. I would be able to do samplings in either or both of those areas if they are good locations.
  7. Sounds like fun....I'll be there

    What's Up?

Ditto to what everyone else has said. I've only been an ISA member for a couple years, but have developed a love for smallie fly fishing thanks to my friend Joseph and my other BassBuggers friends. What a loss for ISA.
  9. Mike, I've never experienced anything quite like yesterday....and can't wait until next year. I would do that every day of the week to come away with the "feeling" I did. My part seemed so minute, yet I left there feeling soooo good. Thank you for that. I wanted you to know that every person I talked to kept saying what a "WONDERFUL & FUN" event it was, and a real tribute to a very special young man and the men and women serving our country. You and the others that made this happen are Tommy's Angels on earth and should be SO proud of what you all did. It's a real honor to be associated with people like you and the great people (okay Guys) of ISA. Best move I ever made joining this organization. One more thing. I absolutely loved your youtube video. Great job and perfect song again. In the video, there was one picture of a little boy on a structural pylon fishing. For me it depicted what the whole day was about. Would it be possible to get a copy (digital is fine) of that picture? I would like to have it as a reminder of a very rewarding, fulfilling.... enjoyable day. The video would be great too, I could put it in my favorites, and use it when I need to moisture my dry eyes. Thanks again, Pat
