John Loebach
A make up for the August outing missed because of the postponed water willow planting. I have invited some of the GBTU (Libertyville) guys to come catch some bronze fish. Meet at 8:30 at the concession stand in the state park. Open to any members, the river should be in prime fall condition. Hope to see you there as I expect only 4 or so from GBTU, plenty of good water to explore& big fish to catch. jhoekstra
Thanks for offering this. For those of us who are new or out of the loop... which state park, where? And what's the access like; a lot of deep wading or would hip waders do it? Thanks again, Jon H
John Loebach
Kankakee river state park six miles west of Bourbonnais on RTE. 102. Definatly full waders or boat. Wade carefully current is strong & even at low levels there are swimming holes. Come along on an outing you'll learn alot.
