VanH
I was done tying cicada’s until I was recently given some flymenfishing cicada wings. With my frog body cutter and 6 mm foam, I had some fun. I used rubber contact cement to attach the bodies to the #2 Ahrex XO774 hook. Most of the cicada flies I normally tie are basically a black beetle pattern with orange legs. Come on cicadas! VanH
Cicada fly update. The wings are holding up great with no signs of wear after many fish. It does make a annoying buzzing noise in the air. 😂

Haven’t seen any floating on the water yet. I hope the streams are down when that happens.
