rich mc Posted February 10, 2023 Report Share Posted February 10, 2023 took them to a pond for casting. 1/4 of the pond was open. rob asked how they would be if retrieved without an indictor. the smaller mohair leech sank slow on its side to the left . jigged up the fly was erratic pulled fast it was nose down almost like a crankbait. larger faux fur fly did a nosedive when jigged it was like a jigging rapala erratic. did notice that the marabou tail with the fur body gave nice movement. cast the redneck ned with spinning gear .i t had nice action like it was searching left and right while angled forward and down. now i am thinking of an ice fishing rapala with a nail or two under the shank.
