Jim J Posted November 27, 2014 Report Share Posted November 27, 2014 Was pulling in to my subdivision today which is right on the DuPage. As I drive up I spot a big bird that looks like an eagle. Sure enough it's a fully mature eagle and my wife spots one on the branch next to it. Two fully mature bald eagles a few blocks from me. I know I've heard some guys mention it (course I never believe that stuff anyway) but wow, seeing those that close to home was just really cool. I should have pulled over and tried to get a shot. I saw one where Ed & I test planted a couple of flats of water willow every time I made it out there. Nest on Mooseheart property, quite a change in just the last few years.
