It's hopper time !

Caught several on the 4th, biggest at 16", many of them coming on hopper patterns. Also the BBB (and no, that doesn't stand for Bob's Bigger Burger that I grew up on) but rather the Big Black Bug scored as well. I ran into a fellow that does some guiding who had just taken a couple of 17's using hoppers over deeper water so don't think they won't come up if they're looking for them. These below tied on a 3 or 4 xl hook, size 4, Mustad popper hook 33903

Windy days for hoppers/beetles when they're being blown onto the water are the best.Fish will be looking up for them then.
