Mike G
From the title I thought I missed it Then I read the text (There's always a wise guy!) Keeping it wise, that rod sounds good. But $900 is low for a hand made boo. How long ago was it made?
John Loebach
Thanks, Mike. Hey at least I knew it was monday if not which month. You are right, the custom bamboo by Drift member Gordin Koppin is worth a good chunk more than 900.00, plus it comes in a custom harwood case with tooled leather caps made by Mike Fleetwood. Both are donated thanks to Gordin & Mike! This years rod is a 8'6" 6 wt. - a good smalle rod! Come check it out. John
Mike G
John, The rod sounds awsome. If I won it I would not use it; I would put it in a bullet proof display case. For me the Ugly Stik 8 wt is a better fit for my stroke and fishing habits. http://www.troutlet.com/Shakespeare-Big-Water-Ugly-Stik-Fly-Rods-P786.aspx#reviews
