A while back I was hard pressed to find some 40# mono for making Lefty's Big Butt Leaders. I wound up going to a web source. Recently I was surprised to find just what I needed at Sullivan's Ace in Winnebago. They stock the 1/4 # spools of Berkely Big Game in 10, 12, 15, 20, 25, 30, 49, and 50 lb. test. Priced at $7.99 per spool they're a good deal.

if you need some Trilene Big Game line 40 lb test in the moss green color, let me know and I'll send you a bunch. Just tell me how many yards you might need as I bought a huge spool a while back when I decided to make up some of Lefty's leaders and I have more than I can use in a lifetime. PM if interested.
