Stretches north of Merrill are good for a canoe and jumbo smallies. Several boat launches along 107 and the only real fast water is below the dams. I have been doing very well on a small jig with craw trailer.

St. Croix Avid 6'3 MLXF. I prefer the ML from St. Croix. Fish from shore, wade, kayak, and sometimes boat.
