Jack T Posted July 23, 2011 Report Posted July 23, 2011 Have two items on removing of Ticks:- If a Tick attaches itself to you our your dog, cover it with a couple of drops of oil, deprived of air it will soon release its hold so you can remove it without breaking off its head, no oil handy, try the dipstick from your car/truck. A drop of lighter fluid, kerosene, iodine will make a tick back out of your skin,or a dog's, and bring his head out with him. Quote

mannym Posted July 25, 2011 Report Posted July 25, 2011 Thanks for the info. I had two on my leg yesterday from walking on a horse trail at Math state park. Fortunately, they were not completely buried. Quote
Paul Swiech Posted July 25, 2011 Report Posted July 25, 2011 I used a couple drops of dish soap on a cotton ball. It backed right out. Man did that feel creepy. Quote
