We will be out at my parents resort property near Amboy and were thinking of heading to the Rock River. I have never fished this river, can anyone put us on a good spot for shore fishing? I was looking at Lowell Park north of Dixon, but was thinking there might be a better spot away from all the crowds. I'm just looking to put him on some fish, doesn't really matter what kind...I would even be ok with an afternoon of carp fishing. Any suggestions would be great! PM's welcome.
