Made it out to one of my favorite carpn diggs thursday, the winds didnt chase me off until 2pm or so.

 

Caught this big girl that taped 36"x24" fish wieght formula put her at 25.9lbs

 

Another monster.

 

A couple more that fell for a big crawfish pattern.

 

The very exclusive carp flats key bonefish club and cantina.

 

Notice how my 7wt looks like a 2wt next to this beast.

 

The drum were a blast, one after another.

 

Smallies were there too.

Great job landing those brutes on a 7wt.Great pics.Btw that smallie really looks green.People who are only familiar with Lake Michigan in our area whose flats were removed as Chicago expanded into it don't realize the extensive flats available elsewhere.
