i started to try the new plastics out. they make a knub tail minnow and a critterbug[beavertailtype] i would have tried their leech imitation but left those at home. the minnows bait arevery soft, almost too soft. the critterbug did well on a slider head using a touch bottom , hop, repeat retrieve. it holds up very well. itook 3 lm in a row 14,16 and 18incher. also picked up 5 others on a rattle trap. all of this was at shabbona.gee and i have tomorrow off, guess where ill be rich m

bill ballenger is from sycamore his leech is bigger with a thicker stem andsoftwings.i picked some up today at allen marine in shabbona his phone is 815 895 6209. his critterbug in pumpkin bonanza is kicking but at shabb. got a 19 and 16this morning... if only they were smallies.

Thanks again for introducing me to Bill at the Blowout, Rich.

The kit Bill gave me has some interesting creations in it, and I can say they have definately caught fish for me already. ;)

just like the Berkley Power Leech but better. 2 sizes. I got my first smallie of the year on the larger one.
