Alschuler October 8th, 2009 | 7pm Libertyville Civic Center GBTUhas lined-up Matthew B. Alschuler to come talk about his groups effortsto "Stop the Mega Dairy" in Jo Daviess county. He will talk about theprogress on their current court case, and what the permanent injunctionwould mean. Matthew B. Alschuler - of the H.O.M.E.S. organization that is opposing the building of a 15,000 head industrial dairy facility in Jo Davies County, Illinois - will explain why his group feels this project will endanger the health of both residents and water quality in the area. We know that Trout Unlimited has spent a lot of time and money improving the Apple River and the Clear Creek, and that our members are concerned that this facility could easily wipe out all of the hard work with one minor spill.
