The river is not in pristine shape, but when has it been the past 18 months? At the present level, canoeing is everyone's best option. Wading would be tough! Fredmo Posted June 12, 2009 Report Share Posted June 12, 2009 I drove to Peoria this morning and crossed the Mac on I-74. I came back via Townline Rd. and of course crossed it again. It looked pretty good to me, from a car and up above the river a bit. I thought wading or canoes would work fine. Let's hope the rain predicted tonight doesn't come.
