Fox River Summit for Friday, September 15,

Recommended Posts

The Fox River Ecosystem Partnership (FREP) has organized a Fox River Summit for Friday, September 15, 8:30 AM to 3 PM at the Gail Borden Library in Elgin. The theme is Fox River Summit: YOU Are the reSOURCE: collaboration + communication = results. We hope you will plan to attend. The agenda includes time to celebrate accomplishments and our past sources of inspiration, including a special presentation about "The Fox," while also looking toward the future. The goal is to find how individuals and organizations can work together to continue improving the health and long-term viability of our watershed and its resources.

A brochure/registration form was mailed to FREP's current mailing list. The brochure is also available online. Those of you who may only be on our email list are encourage to click on this link: http://foxriverecosystem.org/summit.htm for the brochure and online registration.

The cost is $20, which includes breaks, a box lunch, and materials. It is appreciated if you would register by September 8.

The Summit Planning Committee has prepared a survey which can be filled out online and we encourage you to complete it.

This is the first of two annual summits funded by a C2000 grant and developed to bring together the many organizations, subwatershed groups, and entities that work to improve

and develop solutions for caring for our watershed. We are very grateful for a number of sponsors who are supporting the Summit.

For questions about the Summit program please contact Karen Miller at 630-232-3418.

For questions about registration please contact Elizabeth Hagen-Moeller at 630-584-7961 x3.
