Mike Clifford
A tremendous opportunity is being afforded our members to be a part of water quality monitoring on the Kaskaskia River south of Carlyle Lake. There are specific reasons for monitoring, with the results being beneficial to legal action that may be appropriate based on the results. We'll be assisting Prairie Rivers Network in this endeavor, dates to be determined. The only caveat is that you have a boat or can get the use of one for this activity. Please respond here, PM or email me if you can help. isaconservation@comcast.net Thanks!
Mike Clifford
Foot soldiers and people with cars to run samples to the lab would be beneficial as well. There will be some orientation and protocol to learn, nothing heavy. Please respond as noted in the original post above. Thanks!
