Rob G
My brother-in-law has asked that I build him a rod for Christmas on a TFO Professional 9 ft 5 wt. blank. Does anyone have any experience with this blank or rod? I have built one other TFO Professional series rod for a gentleman and he liked it very much as shown below. Thanks for your input. Mike Flyrodder Miller
The TFO Pro Series is a moderate fast action rod witha dull finish. If you go to the Springbrook/TFO website, you can see their description of the rod. The rod works well for beginners. If you like faster rods, you may want to move up to the TiCr or the even faster TiCrX. If you want a slower rod, move down in cost to the Signature Series or up in cost to the Finesse Series. Guest One More Cast
Build on the Pro Series blank, it's a great value, not the most attractive rod but it is a fine fishing tool. The Teeny is nice but the Signature Series is cr@p. Come cast a factory rod and see for yourself. Joseph
