I am looking for access where I can wade fish with my old dog. I have not been to NW Illinois / Iowa in 50 years and have never been to SW Wisconsin but I understand the smallmouth fishing is excellent. Without revealing specific locations, would anyone be willing to provide information on which streams to focus on?
